Audon Partners acted as financial and strategic advisor to the owners of Danish Ventil Center A/S and DVC International ApS (collectively DVC) in the sale of the company to the Dutch group ERIKS nv.
DVC delivers valves for Danish industrial companies and sells specialty valves for major international OEM customers. Within the past ten years, DVC has built a leading position in the market for valves.
ERIKS nv is a leading European supplier of valves and other products for the engineering industry and has sales in more than 25 countries. The company has 4,900 employees and a turnover of more than 1 billion Euros. |
With the acquisition of DVC, ERIKS gets access to the Danish market for valves for industrial use and to a number of OEM customers outside Denmark. Thus, the acquisition of DVC strengthens ERIKS’ strategic development in the Nordic market.
Together with Valtor Offshore, which was acquired in December 2010, DVC will be a part of ERIKS Scandinavia and provide the platform for the growth strategy in Scandinavia.
