Unidrain A/S sold to Purus AB
Audon Partners was engaged as strategic and financial advisor in connection with the sale of Unidrain A/S.
Unidrain was established in 2002 with the aim to develop and market a patented floor drain system specially designed for placement against the wall. The product has been well received by the construction industry and other markets. Unidrain has obtained great recognition for the draining products’ design and unique features.
The vendors comprised the originator Claus Dyre, the private equity firm SR Private Brands and PC Holding ApS, owned by the managers Christian Thing and Peter L. Clausen, and a number of smaller shareholders.

After extensive investments in marketing and product development the company has obtained a significant market share in Denmark and Scandinavia and is about to be established in several international markets. Thus the former owners were able to sell a lean and well-run company with great development potential.
The acquirer is the Swedish manufacturer of drainage and plumbing products, Purus AB. The acquisition will strengthen Purus’ position as the leading producer of floor drainage solutions for the plumbing market in the Nordic countries and will increase its international expansion rate.
In line with Purus AB’s other recent acquisitions, Unidrain A/S will continue as an independent company based in Denmark.
